I am here to ruminate on art and fashion, and whatever else comes to mind really.
I ruminate on art, fashion, and whatever else has to be said.
I am a student at some college in some faculty who happens to have an interest in fashion, art, and culture. Maybe more than an interest. Maybe an obsession with. Maybe I work at a clothing store and spend my breaks looking at fashion mags and sketching. Maybe I read economics books to understand the mechanics behind trends. Maybe I point out designer imitations when my friends and I go shopping.. Pillage the art gallery on Toonie Tuesday.. Sketch my new fashion lines late at night during exam season.. Make a pilgrimage to every new clothing store that comes to town.. Check what brands people are wearing.. So yeah, obsessed. I guess I’m also the go-to guy when people need help with what to wear. You name it, I’ve helped a friend shop for it. Providing it’s wearable.
So, why am I here? Well, I find that talking about fashion is not sustainable for any period of time with many people. Their eyes start glazing over, and before I know it they’ve changed the topic to something else or just zoned out completely. Same thing for art; most people don’t even know what post-modernism means, let alone care about the direction it takes in the world of art. Abstract art? “guhh, I don’t get it”
I want to find other people who think about, well, our modern culture — Particularly where fashion and art are concerned 
. So, if you are interested in either of those things, or are just an interesting person in general, I hope you find this blog. I will give you an ongoing stream of entertainment, opinion, personal art and sketches, and updates on art and fashion.
In return, I hope you will all contribute your thoughts and feelings. Tell me I’m right. Better yet, tell me I’m wrong, and tell me why. I want to know what everyone else thinks and how they feel about art and fashion, as they pertain to us and our society. I like to scrap over ideas. I like other people’s insight and inspiration.
